What to see at the Gardens of the Rose

Visiting the gardens during the summer season will enable you to see the gardens at their best, displaying many historic and modern varieties of rose in different settings and planting arrangements that include different types of companion planting.

Pergola (b) Michael Warren 2010

Don’t miss the 72 arch pergola in the centre of the gardens, our ornamental fish ponds, the heritage beds displaying the history of some of our now modern day varieties and a large selection of roses from some of the UK’s premier growers.

After spending time in the gardens, why not relax in our Tea Room with a fresh sandwich or cream tea and enjoy the splendid surroundings of our patio area within the grounds.

The Gardens of the Rose are now closed for the 2016 season except for special events & will re-open on Saturday 10th June 2017

However, our website is open year round!
So be sure to visit our Gift Shop and upcoming Events pages.

Kind regards, The RNRS Team
